The Lowdown on Solo Travel

Are you nervous to travel alone? Worried you’ll get bored of your own company? Worried that after 18 years old you are too old to do such a ‘crazy’ thing?

Stop or basta as they say in Italian.

If you, like me, have always had an itch to see the world and an underlying feeling that your home country was not where you would stay forever then I would advise you to do it in a heart beat. I’m sure that it is not for everyone some people are happy where they are born and have no desire to live elsewhere and that is great. However, if like me you do have that craving travelling is the best way to explore options and take a bit of time out to decide on the type of place you really would like to live next.

It sounds obvious but it is also really important to remember that the only person that can decide these things is YOU. It really does not make any difference whether your best friend would live ‘there’ or not because their desires and what makes them satisfied will be different to yours. The only way you can find out is by trying it yourself. In this case curiosity does not kill the cat but stops it dying of a life lived for every other person than himself which I fear the majority of humans do. I refuse to be one and I do not want you to be either.
